Bill & Dawn founded The Payne Team Real estate in 2019. Since then, they are among the top realtors in the Sullivan County Catskills servicing both NY & PA. There isn't an eagle's nest or lakefront property that they don't know about.
Brief
The Payne Team approached us with an existing Squarespace website they were comfortable managing themselves. However, their website felt outdated and lacked the professional touch they desired. They were ready to upgrade their frontend and wanted to ensure we could deliver an aesthetic that reflects the beauty of Sullivan County, the area they primarily serve.
Design
Working with the Payne Team there were two core tenants that we wanted to focus on in this redesign project. The first being color palette. When I reviewed their original site, it did not highlight the companies color palette so that was a big focus in this redesign. The other design aspect was making sure we captured the beauty of Sullivan county with high quality photography and that's apparent from the moment you land on the site.
Development
While our expertise lies in Wordpress and Shopify development we're also comfortable in Squarespace. This client was already used to managing their Squarespace site so moving them to another CMS just didn't make the most sense for this project. We used the Steel template from Go Live HQ, an editorial-style Squarespace Fluid Engine Template. We also integrated their MLS via IDX and iHomefinder to allow for all their listings to automatically display on the site.
