Peaceful Mind Psychiatric is a mental health practice specializing in compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care with a focus on whole-person wellness and individualized treatment.
Brief
Peaceful Mind Psychiatric came to us after years on a Wix site that didn't reflect their approach to care. Savuol Ngo runs a psychiatric practice grounded in compassion, whole-person wellness, and patient-centered treatment—but the website felt generic and limited. The challenge was clear: redesign the online experience to match the warmth and professionalism of the practice itself, while maintaining all the backend functionality their patients needed for scheduling and insurance.
Design
The core of this redesign was shifting the narrative from clinical credentials to patient empowerment. We chose a warm color palette, intentional typography, and breathing room throughout the design—every element communicates that this is a safe, thoughtful practice. High-quality imagery of real, welcoming spaces replaced generic stock photos. Patient testimonials are woven into the experience, not isolated on a separate page. The design hierarchy guides visitors toward booking and insurance information without feeling pushy—it's intuitive because it respects the patient's journey. By prioritizing clean lines, calming color, and human-centered copy, we created a digital space that actually reflects Peaceful Mind's values.
Development
The migration from Wix to Webflow opened up new possibilities. We rebuilt the entire site on a modern, flexible platform that gives Savuol room to update copy, add patient resources, and evolve the practice's messaging over time. Booking integrations with SimplePractice and Headway remain seamless—patients can schedule or verify insurance directly from the site without friction. The new infrastructure is significantly faster than the Wix site and requires virtually no maintenance, freeing up time for what actually matters: patient care. Every technical decision was made to support a smooth patient experience.
